GHCD Studio is a design-build design firm uniting architecture, interiors & construction—delivering a seamless experience from concept to completion.
Founded by Guillermo Hurtado, raised in Long Beach & shaped by Los Angeles’ creative culture, his passion for design began early through his mother, a floral designer. He later earned his BFA in Interior Architecture & Design in San Francisco.
In partnership with his father—bringing over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and major developments across Southern California—the studio blends design vision with deep civil construction expertise.
We are a proudly Latino-led, bilingual studio built to serve our community.
This mission is personal. Guillermo walked away from his career to build something rooted in integrity—where people are respected, opportunities are created, and the work reflects those it serves.

GUILLERMO HURTADO
PRINCIAL DESIGNER / INTERIOR ARCHITECT
An accomplished designer and project leader specializing in design-build, construction management, and interior architecture. Guillermo brings a refined approach to each project, seamlessly bridging vision and execution.
MILENA MARTINEZ
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Milena supports project coordination and design development with a strong focus on organization, efficiency, and execution.
LORENA SOLORZANO
LEAD ARCHITECT
Educated at the Autonomous University of Baja California, Lorena has worked across Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada, and Cabo. Her work is grounded in context, detail, and thoughtful design solutions.
GIL HURTADO
GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Bringing over 30 years of experience in grading, civil engineering, and development, Gil ensures each project is executed with precision, efficiency, and technical expertise.
